Day 20-Evangelism

When you pray, has your prayer ever been interrupted with the thought of others? Has your heart ever been burden with the state that others are in? To take it even further, have you been bogged down with making a big decision when you believed that the particular thought was not timely? Try praying about that matter, whatever it may, during the course of this day. Why Not?

  1. At the beginning of this fast, I struggled with meditating. It seemed like everthing and anything would come up in my mind. Things I haven't thought about in years. As I continue to pray and meditate those thoughts have slowly ceased. I have noticed these last couple of days I have prayed more for others than myself. This what GOD expects from us and for us to reach out and help and pray for others.

  2. Praise the Lord Saints of God:

I have been tested & tried during this fast; however, I feel extremely blessed and enriched in my relationship with Christ due to this fast!

I am curious, during the last part of this fast (Daniel Fast) does eliminating meat mean fish is not allowed? There are some who do not consider fish to be meat, as some vegetarians will eat fish. I want to continue to follow this fast to the "T" so your insight will be greatly appreciated. May God's blessings be upon the EBC family forever.

  5. I can confess my prayers are always interrupted by thought of others and I usually find myself praying for them in turn, I figure if they are on my mind why not send up a pray for there life. I am a compassionate person so when others are feeling stress and upset I sympathize, if they are really close I tend to be affect by there state. Praying helps tremendously and I usually feel better, or a least can deal with it easier.

  6. SO many times when I pray, thoughts of others have jumped into my head and most of the time when that happens, I do pray for them. Sometimes I'll even give them a call and find out how they're doing. I think of that as God's way of making us all intercessory prayer warriors. Praise God! Because that means somebody is praying for me too. And you!!
